Massage Addiction - Presently at Risk?

As a Massage Therapist, I work hard in order to create repeat customers by simply offering a great service at a price that reflects value for cash.

Getting to know a customer and their desires and demands over time makes the Massage more serious easier. Massaging is hugely personal service so any familiarity built eventually, helps both the Massage Therapist as well as client relax into precisely what very enjoyable experience.

Where there is not any 'standard' rate of frequency if you are Massaged, most Massage Therapists indicate one Massage per month is standard rate of frequency blogging about repeat customer. More sessions may be needed depending on whether harm or health concern is planned to be treated.

So what is included with a customer starts selection Massages weekly, or twice each week, for no reason as an alternative to they just 'like being Massaged and Massaged from you in particular. In every other profession, accelerated frequency on the customer is a expect event. In the playing field of Massage, it may actually cause concern to your Massage Therapist.

Could this customer be influenced by Massage? If they are, is this a destroying thing?

One often associates conjunction with what are regarded rather negative habits - give up cigarettes, excessive alcohol consumption, excessive gambling, etc. Or, addiction frequently associated to events that give people a 'rush' with the sorts. High impact features, bungee jumping, sky scuba diving, etc. But Massage? The act of being pampered into relaxation!

If we break away, my belief is that our society has become one where 'touching' others is as a minimum, avoided - think on the discomfort of standing countries others in an escalator, or how one says 'sorry' as they accidentally touch by someone on the block (well most of certain time). Consider how we bustle for our own patch of turf on public transport. How we act at the office is highly regulated and 'touching' in any form may point toward sexual intimacy harassment. I don't disagree with needing to protect all in an office against any form associated with discrimination.

Human beings are programmed to be social - we seek community and we seek the company who were others.

Now think more than a person, who is either single or in a non affectionate 'non touching' relationship. They wake up and go to work and in every instance and they have 'touched' someone planned accidentally, they apologise.

It is actually possible that some people nowadays today go through generally days, or even months and not get 'purposely touched' to the positive, healing, way through someone.

Could some be using Massage as a way of simply being confronted? Where does someone current market who yearns being touched inside a non sexual, healing, pampering way go?

In a watch society where touching is all about avoided, discouraged or legislated against, one can see how easily some may become in love with what in its quality, is a basic human need - being confronted.
